Ladybug Love

I don't think I have told you this before, but Hayden is absolutely fascinated with Ladybugs.  He and the other children go out into the fields and catch them the whole time we are outside at school.  They are very gentle and let them crawl up their arms and then let them go.  It's fun to watch Hayden take pleasure in such a simple thing, a little ladybug on his arm.  When we got to the carnival, he immediately took Jane out to the field to show her "our ladybugs" and they had a blast catching and releasing them.  It just makes my heart smile to see my little guy so in love and so gentle with the little bugs.

We had a wonderful evening at the Wrightstown Carnival last night.  Hayden and his friend Zach jumped and played and ate snow cones together.  They also got some awesome dragons painted on their arms by the face painting lady.  It was nice to see so many people out in support of the school and they had old photos on the walls from years past, which was really fun to see.

Here's the photos from last night and the one in his T-Ball uniform is from yesterday morning when we arrived at Hayden's game.  Doesn't he look like a professional ball player?  He certainly thinks he is!

I'm off to play some more with Hayden and then take a nature walk, so I'll make this short today.  Have a beautiful Sunday!
