Check out my new bed set

Hayden has been needing to ditch his Elmo bedding for at least 6 months now.  He never watches Elmo and always tells me it's for babies.  I decided we should replace his set with something that reflects his style and personality.  Today I found this adorable Space set at Target and I just knew it was perfect for him.  As soon as Hayden saw it, his eyes lit up and he said, "Oh Mommy, I love this!  Can I sleep with it tonight?"  He actually held the package on the way home and helped me unpack it when we got inside.  We put it in the washer, he added the detergent and hit the button, then helped put it in the dryer afterwards.  I definitely think it was a good purchase.

Hayden also got a really awesome set of Lego's today with Matt.  It's a set called "Builders of Tomorrow" that focuses on children being creative with their families.  They have a website called LegoFamilyFun.com and it has hundreds of awesome building ideas and also allows families to submit their own.  I don't mind the "Star Wars" sets and stuff since it all still contributes to Fine Motor development and Hand/Eye coordination, not to mention patience, but there's something fun for me about plain colored Lego's with an endless possibility of things to build.  I love this set!

The T-ball game today was great and the kiddos got totally covered in red dirt again, which delighted them.  One of the families brought a really nice sun tent thing that they set up before the game and the kiddos had a blast under it.

Here's some of the fun!  And yes, in the Lego pics, Hayden is rocking a Beatles T-Shirt and boxer-briefs.  He looks exhausted from a long night of partying or something  (or a T-Ball game and shopping, but whatever)  The kid is a rock star already.    :)
