Uniform Time

We got our team's soccer uniforms on Monday and today was Hayden's first time wearing his.  The jersey is extremely long and covers his shorts so it has to be tucked in, and the socks actually fit me, but when you are part of an organization like NYS, you get the size they think your child should wear.  Unfortunately for Hayden, this means some very large clothes on a tiny little man but he could care less how big they are.  He was so excited that his jersey said "Duffin" on the back of it and he didn't want to take it off tonight.  He's super excited for the game on Saturday morning and I am too.  The kids have been working so well together the past few weeks learning how to play soccer and they will be really excited to finally play a real game.  Hayden is several months younger than the next youngest kid on the team, and it doesn't matter at all.  He fits right in with the group and even shows them how to line up since he's the only kid that goes to school.  Here's some adorable pictures of him practicing in his uniform today and I promise many more to come from the game Saturday.  Unfortunately, Blogger will NOT let me upload these pictures any other way but sideways, so you have to turn your head to view the pictures!!

On a side note, tomorrow is one week until Hayden's birthday and he is very excited to visit the Phoenix Zoo.  I have a letter that I wrote to him for his birthday that I will post next week along with a very special slideshow that Matt made for me for his birthday.  I can't wait to see it..I'm not allowed to even peek at it until next week!

Hope everyone is doing well and we will talk to you this weekend!!

Lots of love!!
