Big Boy School

Today we officially decided to move Hayden to my school starting February 1st.  Not only will he be able to come with me every day, but it is going to be way cheaper.  If I thought he wouldn't be able to handle me being in his class, there's no way I would attempt to switch him, but I really think he will settle in nicely.  I adore his school now and I definitely think it's an awesome place with loving people, but I think he will get more of the academic benefits from being in my class.  We are an official Preschool program, not a center with many ages that calls themself a Preschool or as people who work in real preschools say, "glorified daycare".  Our kids are learning real skills to help them prepare to be good learners in kindergarten and I just love how ahead our class is.  Hayden is a very smart little boy, as you all know, and I think he will love the challenge of being around some kids his age but also 4 and 5 year olds.  When I told his school today, his teachers were very sad and said they would really miss him but totally agreed he is ready for an academic preschool program.  I guess it's all part of this whole "growing up" thing we all have to go along with.  :)

Tonight we are getting messy with moon sand after Hayden and Matt return from soccer practice, so I will get some photos of all that fun!!
