We have had 4 soccer practices now and we are all having a blast. The 6 kids on the team are already becoming great friends and play really well together. I have yet to see one disagreement amongst the children and they all seem to really be learning the fundamentals of the game while having fun at the same time. Matt really is a great coach and the kids listen to him way better than I ever imagined. A couple of them even call him "Coach Matt" which is just adorable. Matt let the kids completely come up with a team name on their own and they all decided they wanted to be called "the snakes", so that's our team name! We have 3 weeks of practice now before our first game and I think the kids are definitely going to love that part of the season since they will have matching uniforms and a post-game snack, which is probably more fun to them than the game itself! Hayden is having a blast with his new group of friends and I am so glad to see him branching out to make even more friends than he already has.
Hayden and I both have one day left before our Christmas break and then we are off until January 4th, so in addition to our Christmas photos, you will get the full run-down of our fun activities. We already have 4 playdates and a few parties to attend so we will stay busy, I'm sure!
