Christmas Lights!

We don't even have our own lights up yet, and Hayden is obsessed with them. He wants to take walks each night through the neighborhood to admire the lights. He has been very tired after school this whole week and I think he finds it relaxing before bed. We discovered a neighborhood down the street that has many houses with beautiful displays, so that's tomorrow night's destination. I think we will definitely be in for a couple of trips to Zoo Lights and at least one to walk around Winterhaven (our city's pride and joy when it comes to Christmas lights).  I am so glad that Hayden enjoys looking at the lights, as this was my absolute favorite thing as a child.  I didn't care so much about the presents or the treats, I loved the Christmas lights.  It's just such a wonderful way to spend the evening.  We talk about the displays, our day, etc. while we walk around as a family.  I think this is definitely going to be a tradition...The whole month of December, we will walk each night together and look at different streets with lights.  I can't say enough how much I love this season.  It's such a blessing to have amazing family and friends to share it with.
