Little Artist

Hayden and I woke up early this morning and colored for quite a while.  We colored in his Caillou workbook, his Curious George coloring book and his Elmo coloring book.  After he colored each page, he wote his little letter "H" all over the pages.  We made up stories about what was going on in the pictures and I could see on his face how much he really enjoyed this activity.  Here's some quick photos I took.


Today we are heading out to the Street Fair with Hayden's awesome Godparents who are expecting a baby in May.  Hayden knows about this and is very excited "to hold it like a baby".  I'm sure we will have a great time walking around with them as we usually do.  I am so grateful that he has such a wonderful couple in his life that have all his best interest at heart. 

Also this afternoon, Matt and Hayden will be putting up the Christmas lights out front together.  Hayden has been asking since we decorated the inside of the house last week and I know his face will light up when he sees the several boxes of lights Matt secretly bought while we were at Target.  There will be pics this evening, I promise.
