I have been wanting to make a gingerbread house with Hayden for the past couple of weeks and we finally kicked off our vacation by making one. I had trouble finding a dairy-free kit in stores and was on the verge of just making my own from scratch, when I happened to stumble upon this kit at Target. There is no dairy in the whole entire kit, which felt great for Hayden and for me because I didn't have to take anything from it away. As you can see, most of the photos are of Hayden eating parts of the house, which means it was a success!
This evening we are heading to a quick dinner and then on to Zoo Lights with our friend Alison and her kids Alex and Yazzi. I'm sure the kids will have a blast and I promise there will be photos by tomorrow morning.
By the way, it is ONE week until Christmas and all of us are really excited to celebrate for this whole week!
