Well, Hayden's birthday is just under two months away now, and I have been asked many times already what we are planning to do. I was going to do a simple party at Pump It Up but we have decided to do a space party at Purple Heart Park instead. Hayden is really interested in all things space related right now and he has been helping me pick things out. He asked me yesterday if we can have a space dig in moon sand, which was an awesome idea so we are going to put lots of moon sand in a baby pool, give the kids shovels, rakes etc. and let them look for things like moon rocks, planet bouncy balls and aliens in the sand. As a second activity, we are going to get some stomp launchers and let the kids launch rockets in the park. I have a feeling the adults will enjoy this too.
It will be an interesting mix of guests this year as we have friends from his old scool, friends from his new school, and our outside friends. I am excited to get everyone together in one place to celebrate our baby growing one year older. We have ordered some awesome space decorations and we are planning to do a bunch of snacks and a dairy-free cake as well. That's all I have planned for now, but it should give some of you that are f
ar away an idea of what we are doing.
Hayden sends love and kisses and we will post lots of pictures of his final Movers and Shakers class Saturday and a bunch more Sunday after our adventures in Phoenix :)
