Busy Day

I will start this post by apologizing for the lack of pictures today. My camera is charging so I will just post them tomorrow. We had a really busy day today and enjoyed all of the things we did. We blew off going to his weekly Movers and Shakers class so we could go on a playdate with Hayden's friend, Amelia. They had a blast at the park together rolling down the hills, climbing, sliding and also playing house! It was really adorable. I even have a couple of pictures of them holding hands. I am so grateful Hayden has friends that are so sweet and calm like he is. They never fight over anything and they always take turns. We made a date to go to the zoo Halloween party next Saturday night.

After they played for a while and caught a few minutes of storytime at the library at the park, we were on to a new adventure. We went to a birthday party for Hayden's new friend Sean from his school. There were several kids from Hayden's class there and the kids had a great time. Sean is an adorable little boy and even wanted to share his presents with his friends.

After the party that was pretty warm, we stopped at home, got cleaned up and went to our friend Ashley and her hubby Kevin's baby shower. They are expecting twins around Thanksgiving and it was nice to catch up with old buddies. Hayden befriended a 6 year old boy at the party and they played with Hot Wheels cars and jumped in the jumping castle the entire time.

By the time we got home it was nearly 5:00 so we played for a while and Hayden fell asleep before 7:00. He went all day on a ten minute nap and was an awesome trooper. Tomorrow we plan to clean up a bit (Meemaw's friend Pam is coming to town Friday to go to a wedding with her.) We also plan to have a picnic lunch at the park and put up our Halloween spider webs so I'm sure I'll take lots of pictures!
