Happy Daddy's Day!

This is one of my favorite poems about Dads, so I wanted to share it with all of you.  Happy Father's Day to Matt, Sid, and My Dad, Jason.  We all love you very much!


"Walk a little slower daddy," said a child so small. 
"I'm following in your footsteps
and I don't want to fall.
Sometimes your steps are very fast,
Sometimes they're hard to see;
So walk a little slower, Daddy,
For you are leading me.
Someday when I'm all grown up,
You're what I want to be;
Then I will have a little child
Who'll want to follow me.
And I would want to lead just right,
And know that I was true;
So, walk a little slower, Daddy,
For I must follow you."






This is a little letter that Hayden (and I) wrote together today for Matt.  I hope you love it, honey!


Dear Daddy,
I am so lucky to have you as my Daddy.  You are the best Daddy in the world and I love playing with you.  I like to color with you, play Transformers and play baseball with you.  I am so happy to spend time with you playing Candy Land a lot too.  Mommy said I could make you something so I did and it is so, so beautiful.  You teach me lots of fun things and I remember them.  Happy Father's Day to My Daddy, the most wonderful Daddy there is!
