What's next?

The past few days, I have been thinking to myself, what's the next stage we will encounter with Hayden? The past few months, he has been such a big kid and I think we may be over the "baby" phase. We went from starting solid foods to crawling to walking, then running, and potty training and now it seems we are out of huge changes. I suppose the next stage will be when he turns 3 and gets a 3 year-old attitude and maybe an independence phase. I keep thinking how insanely lucky we are that he is a well-mannered, sweet kid and we don't have severe switches in his mood from day to day. Sure, he's not perfect and will occasionally have a 30 second tantrum, but overall I think we are looking at a big kid in the making! It's kind of sad but also exciting because we are having a blast doing all the "big kid" activities that come along with him being older.
