I'll start by saying that Hayden is REALLY into checking the mail lately, so when he gets a package or letter, it's a big deal. We walk there, ride bikes or stop on our way in and he will never let me forget to check it. He likes getting the Zoo Quarterly books, LEGO magazines and of course, cards from England! Yesterday, when we went to the mail box, he was so excited to see his big packet from England in the mailbox. He could barely contain himself on the 20 second drive back home. He kept saying, "Grandad and Grandma sent me a special England surprise!"
When he opened his package, he was so happy to see all of the wonderful things he had received and he wanted to play with the trains and wear his cool Thomas sweater right away, so we opened it up and had a little train party in his room. I did some of that awesome workbook with him today and he loved that too. He's really good at the matching games in there! Thank you both for everything, it's all just wonderful.
Today we had our very first T-Ball practice and Hayden loved it. We have 7 boys and one little girl and they are all just adorable. I was so busy doing the uniform order and trying to stay warm that I didn't take any pictures, so I will definitely take some Tuesday. Tomorrow evening we are attending a wedding for Matt's friend from work and we will have the little man all dressed in a dress shirt, slacks and a tie so look forward to those pictures too!
