Thursday Adventures

Yesterday was a really great day spent with friends and family.  We started out at Pump It Up with Hayden's friends Zach and Cassidy and they had a blast running all over the place and being silly.  Afterwards, we picked up lunch and headed to Reid Park to play for a while.  The kids all stayed in a nice little pack and it made it very easy for us to watch them and have some real "mommy" conversation, which was so nice.

We left the park for Hayden's play date and he wasn't even tired yet.  I was shocked that he didn't take even a 15 minute nap in the car!  At Amelia's house, they dove into lots of yummy Play-Doh creations and played so nicely together.  They are friends that I know are going to last a long time.  They remember everything they have done together and love to share toys and take turns.  I am so grateful he has her as his friend.

We really thought the weather was too gross to go to T-Ball, but since the kids were all excited, the coach decided to try anyways.  To our surprise, it didn't even sprinkle out there and they were able to get a whole practice in!  You should see Hayden out there, it's just brilliant. I need to try to make a video next week of him practicing.  He is also becoming best buddies with his coach.  They are always chasing each other, hiding each other's gloves and just being funny.  I am glad that Hayden has become so outgoing and will bond with adults like that so well.  He's building a foundation to be able to instill his trust in teachers and coaches without us forcing him to, which will help him when he's in real school and competitive sports and Mommy and Daddy won't be there right next to him.

Here's some photos of Pump it Up...I killed the camera battery there, so I missed out on pictures of the Play-Doh fun, but there will be other days!  We are going back to Pump It Up today and I know the kids are going to have a great time together again!
